1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by D&A Tyres Autocentre. By booking a service or instructing us to carry out work on your vehicle, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. Quotations

Any quotation provided is based on the information available at the time of inspection or enquiry.

If additional faults are discovered during the repair, we will contact you before carrying out any additional work wherever reasonably possible.

Quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

 

3. Vehicle Repairs

All repairs are carried out by qualified technicians using appropriate tools and equipment.

While every effort is made to complete repairs within the estimated timeframe, completion dates cannot be guaranteed where delays occur due to parts availability, supplier delays or unforeseen circumstances.

 

4. MOT Testing

All MOT inspections are carried out in accordance with the current DVSA MOT Testing Guide and Inspection Manual.

Passing an MOT confirms that the vehicle met the minimum legal standards at the time of inspection. It does not guarantee the future condition or reliability of the vehicle.

 

5. Parts

Replacement parts may be genuine manufacturer parts, original equipment quality parts or equivalent aftermarket parts, depending on availability and customer preference.

Any warranty provided on replacement parts is subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.

 

6. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Vehicles may be retained until payment has been received in full, where permitted by law.

 

7. Vehicle Collection

Customers should collect their vehicle promptly after being notified that work has been completed.

Where a vehicle is left for an extended period without prior agreement, storage charges may apply.

 

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for ensuring that:

• Vehicle information provided is accurate.

• Personal belongings are removed before work begins.

• The vehicle contains sufficient fuel where necessary for testing or repairs.

D&A Tyres Autocentre cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings left inside the vehicle.

 

9. Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our workmanship.

Any warranty on repairs applies only to the work carried out by D&A Tyres Autocentre and does not cover unrelated faults, normal wear and tear, accidental damage or misuse.

Manufacturer warranties on supplied parts remain subject to the manufacturer's own warranty terms.

 

10. Liability

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Subject to applicable law, D&A Tyres Autocentre shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of our services.

 

11. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible.

We are committed to resolving any concerns fairly, professionally and promptly.

13. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.

If you are a consumer, you are entitled to all rights and remedies provided by law. These Terms & Conditions should be read alongside those statutory rights and are not intended to limit or exclude them.
